To the wind howl and rage, I understand (and listen to) the advice, if one is fortunate enough to be in circumstances to be able to follow it, to stay indoors on the lower levels of your dwelling, and away from the windows.

Part of householder yoga, for me, is trying to be mindful of what and how much I consume. It may be a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but it is something I can do and the more of us who do it, the more influence we have.
I come home all too profoundly aware that these are war times and of the enormity of human suffering. And, to my great good fortune, I came home to my own kitchen and made a savory lentil stew with whole grain rice garnished with the first fresh herbs from the garden (cilantro and garlic chives).
