I put out to the curb some ceramic lady statuary left behind by a house mate who moved out years ago. So far no one has taken them–but people are looking at them when they walk past the house.
On my way back to the office after lunch with a friend. The beets weren’t yet on display–farmers were just starting to set up for the afternoon market in Penn Quarter–but there were some beautiful onions, tomatoes, and peaches.
How would we behave, what would we say, how would we relate to ourselves and all in the world if we treated all as sacred?
