The rose is just starting to bloom, the pansies are thriving with the cool, wet weather. These would not have made it through the coming rains, and it is sweet to have some inside blossoms in these times (and I am grateful for such privilege).
In the middle of the day today , I took formal leave to bear witness at the march against gun violence on the Capitol grounds. Having brought myself face to face with this many mothers of murdered sons, what could I do but offer respect, see what I can do to help from my own…
To walk around and marvel at the clouds. Even on the busiest of days, or ones when work or other commitments make it so that we do not have much time for sky-gazing, we still always have a few moments to marvel and delight.
