At last enough beans all at once to make a meal. Until now, the birds and I nibbled the few a day while still outside.

On my way to share meals and conversation and experience the Philadelphia Flower Show. A good way to spend a wintry weekend. Meanwhile back home, in between winter storms, some neighbors have been decorating the sidewalk.
The fresh, lovely green of new leaves emerging is the green of the anahata chakra–the chakra of the heart, midway between that of earth and sky, where in meditation we can open to experience the intertwinedness (yes, I know that is not a “real” word) of matter and spirit.
